Poem
is it harder to say goodbye to a person or a feeling
can we fall forward into new futures without the wild horses dragging us back to the start
i always give others too much credit but that’s worked out well for us
sometimes better for you than me
never kept score except to default to you over me because we can’t always make others do what we want not that we should even because
want just means desire without effort and ours is more than theirs
but to them theirs is more than ours and
we’ll never all be in the same spheres at the same time
so guess in all of this what I really mean is
I miss you
