The Rebel

Rebellion Poems

My father once warned me
That the rebel within me
Will cause nothing but trouble.
Maybe that is exactly what I need
To feel alive again
While the dawn is approaching
And all that I can see is
Shredded glass, blood and green illusions.
Who am I even talking to?

My father once said to me
That my dreams will kill me
That I need to be happy with what I have.
Oh, misery, mediocre conformability,
I want to get out of this
So called live-work-die facility
And all that I can see is
Shredded glass, blood and green illusions.
Who am I even talking to?

People are unwanted children
Attached to just because we couldn’t live without them.
