Lead me to temptations
As the drops of icicles melt into the earth
Allow divergence to tithe its unsorted dues
To preach its oaths of mans sports
As once-constants fall away, left behind
Drive the turmoils of confusion
Awash with sorrows that cannot be swayed
That hug the shadows of lost lovers
And allow their arms to drape upon us, whisper our names into our ears
Disavowed loyalties to seasons expected and renewed
Of memories saying not what one has lost
But instead to wait here, consider
