Another Rockland Boulder’s Game

baseball on the gravel

Bottom of the 11th during a game with several lead changes. The Boulders manage to load the bases, but there are two outs—including a strikeout of the batter that tied up the game in the bottom of the 10th.

The pitch; the hit: a single into center field! The runners on second and third race home. The team gathers around the RBI hitter whose shot won the game. The home crowd cheers.

Then “oohs” and “aahs” as the fireworks begin.
