Garden Birds
Poem
Once in their lifetime
Alone they face
A trip into the wild
Without knowing
What will they find
Garden birds
They travel from a great distance
To reach the water
Of youth and eternity
While changing their fathers
Into purple and clarity
Garden birds
And only if they come back
With a black spot
Underneath their left eye
They will be allowed
To join the family
Garden birds
Blue and white
They make their nest
On porcelain
Looking for the finest
Spot under the sun
Garden birds
To see them
It is a rarity
Being so silent
Like the late night wind
And as fast
As the morning dew
