Snow and Solitude
Snow dropped by the other day
Paraded down the street
Grandly swayed, a bright ballet
Both powerful and meek
Colorless, a vibrant mess
Lighting all the roads
Where folks, well-dressed
Recess, de-stress, live out emotions stowed
Snow dropped by the other day
It beckoned and it crowed
“Come play with me,”
I answered She, “I would, but my time’s sold”
Programmed by the daily tow
Made of responsibility
I sat there in my cubicle
Re-thinking my civility
