Sombre Sky Sailor
I imagined his ghost standing and waving from the docks
As I sailed into the sky
With my heart in pandora’s box
Joining my scarred sword
Unspoken words
Velvet riding cape
And caged birds
Gold sun rays tried prying open my heavy eyes
That I might greet the rising dawn
And find a new mind
Only to let limp their limbs
As my storm from within
Held shut my spectacles
And wilted their strength from bright to dim
