Via Mirrors

Wait
That thing is still there
And your hair is askew
And your eyes are too close
And you sure do look tired
Muss your hair
Well that didn’t fix anything
You look less tired from the side
And younger from this angle
And your neck is so short
But how special it is to look at yourself
When humans couldn’t do it for eons
And take stock of your self, your humanity
Whenever you choose
The world is a crazy, short-lived, terrible place
But here, in this moment, you are beautiful
